Learn Tarot, Five Cards at a Time

Look closely, try a reading question, then open the explanation. Build familiarity with all 78 cards and keep a short list of cards you want to revisit.

Images stay upright while you study both upright and reversed meanings. The five-card set is a learning exercise, not a reading about your future.

A method you can reuse

An observation describes the image: a person carries a bundle of staffs. An interpretation explores a theme: the bundle may prompt a question about workload. A useful reading then asks something specific: which responsibility could be shared? Keep those steps separate so an impression does not become a claim of fact.

Take a moment before opening the explanation. You can think through an answer or write it on paper; this tool does not collect typed notes or personal questions. Compare the explanation with your own idea instead of trying to reproduce every word.

About the practice tool

Which cards does the practice tool use?

The study collection includes all 78 Rider鈥揥aite鈥揝mith cards: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. Five different cards are selected for each local date. This learning exercise is separate from the Daily Draw, Three-Card Spread and Yes/No Oracle, which use 22 Majors.

Do I need to get one correct answer?

No. Describe something visible, suggest a meaning and compare it with the explanation. Your Review again or Familiar for now rating is a personal study choice, not a test score or evidence of predictive ability.

Where is my progress saved?

Practice progress and review choices are saved in this browser on this device when local storage is available. They are not synced to an account. If storage is blocked, you can still practise for the current visit. Clear practice progress removes this tool鈥檚 saved data.

Will I get the same cards tomorrow?

The five-card set is determined by your local calendar date. Refreshing on the same date keeps the same set; a different date can include some cards you have seen before. An open session is kept until you choose to load the new day鈥檚 set.

How do saved reviews work?

Review saved cards opens up to five cards currently marked Review again. Older review dates come first. Marking a card Familiar for now removes it from that review list. Your daily study set remains available when you return to it.
